The ICASSP rooms are subject to availability, and the block has quickly filled. The $185 room rate has sold out for all but two nights: April 1 and April 2. There are no more rooms available at the conference rate on any other nights during the conference.

ICASSP 2008 has secured a special rate of $185.00 for our attendees staying in the Classic Guest Room of Caesar’s Palace (Note: The online room reservation system also offers other types of rooms at varying rates). This rate is per guestroom, per night, single or double occupancy. There will also be an additional charge for Clark County Room Tax. Additional persons will be charged at a rate of $30.00 per person, per night, with a maximum of three persons per guestroom. The cut-off date for receiving this rate is March 7, 2008. Please make your reservations before that date. After March 7, 2008, the Hotel will charge their prevailing hotel rate.

Please note – traveling from one hotel to another in Las Vegas can be very expensive and time consuming. Going from Caesars to either end of the strip may take as long as 20 minutes and the cab fare may be as high as $20, depending on time of day and traffic. Walking from hotel to hotel can also take 20 minutes or more.

All reservations must be guaranteed with a deposit for the first nights guestroom and tax charge. If your reservation is guaranteed to a credit card, a first night’s guestroom and tax charge, per guestroom, will be billed immediately to the cardholder’s account.

You should make every effort to inform the Hotel in advance of any changes to your planned length of stay. Attendees will be charged an early departure fee of one (1) night’s room and tax.

Check-in time is 3:00 pm (Monday – Thursday) and 5:00 pm (Friday – Sunday). Checkout time is 11 am. Any departures after 11 am are subject to the full day charge.
